Future Shock (1972)
Too much change in too short a time.
Future Shock is based on the book with the same name by Alvin Toffler back in 1972. Orson Welles narrates and proceeds to explain the future automations, artificial intelligence, heart transplants, face lifts, manipulating skin color, temporary body parts, nomadic societies with robot as servants and an abundance of information that society can long longer process nor digest. The temporary, the death of permanence "just as things and places flow through our lives at high speed, so do people, long-term commitments are not expected ..."
